Really enjoyed your singing and playing. It brought up memories of my dad teaching me how to play harmonica when I was a kid. James Bland died in 1911, same year my dad was born. When his sister visited when I was a kid, she told how that was the first song my dad learned to play on the harmonica. Banjo sounds great – is that the Dean banjo? Hope you keep posting. not as many banjo singers as I do and like. Thanks! banjered

Thanks for sharing that story! I've been digging into some of the minstrel tunes lately. I was just reading about James Bland and discovered that he also did Golden Slippers, along with many others. I think I might try that one next.
