Thanks for making me aware of this hymn; I found a sung version here youtube.com/watch?v=CLAnuG1340g which I needed because I wasn't aware of this song. Very similar melody to Lord of the Dance (Sydney Carter) but I guess this is older.
The style of playing you're using would also work with many O'Carolan tunes.

Thanks Chris. I like O'Carolan a lot. I can knock out one or two of his simpler tunes, perhaps I'll try to polish them up a bit and post them.
