The fiddler is most likely Chris Romaine, Yigal Zan - banjo. From a cassette recorded by Doug Casteel some time in the second half of the 1970s

Notice that like Lee Triplett, Chris Romaine (if indeed he is the fiddler, who probably had learned the tune from a Lee Triplett's clip) plays the tune once in low and once in high octave. The banjo, of course, plays in the same octave all the time.
