This is my first attempt at playing Bob's new version from the Old Time Banjo Festival CD. He plays it really simply, but trying to play it that way reveals what a master he is--there's a lot going on in that tune, most of it very subtle, and I actually capture very little of it here.

Wow! I like it a lot. You should listen to Dwight Diller's Version just for comparison. It's pretty different.

This is really good stuff. Have you listened to Reed Miller? Go to Elderly and get a copy of his Old Time Banjo if you don't already have it.

Reed Martin is one of my all-time favorite players. You're kind, but I can't sound even remotely like him. He is THE MAN!
