Continuing to document the transformation of my Leo Master banjo. These are fairly rare - original five string from the fifties. Although it has a 1/8" raised bead on the inner lip of the rim to give it an "archtop" appearance, i installed a 1/8" prewar brass hoop on the outside of the rim. With the skin head tightened to about a G#, and a Sosebee bridge, this is the result. Very pleased. This banjo is for sale, if you're interested.
