Nice! This is an Emmett Lundy tune?

Yes. I got the clip of Emmett Lundy's playing the tune, from slippery-[down
the]hill site. (The direct url is slippery-hill.com/recording/be...lexington -
use Firefox if you are on Windows XP.) I transcribed and taught myself the tune.
My transcription is under the tab I posted at my Tabs page. As a friendly
gesture to Miles Krassen's moving to Abq and then my neighborhood, I purchased
his Masters Of Old-Time Fiddling book where there is his transcription of Emmett
Lundy's Belle Of Lexington - page 34. After Lundy's version got internalized in
my mind and fingers, I transcribed and studied other versions - Bruce Molsky,
Adam Hurt, Kirk Stuthin.
More of a surprise was listening to and playing with Bill Cummings. He was
playing a crooked version containing extra four notes in the first (or high)
part. He tipped me to the existence of another authentic source where the extra
four notes are found, the playing of "Old" Luther Smith. In my youtube channel
there is a "still" video of David Margolin and me playing the Ludny version, but
with Smith's four extra notes thrown in. You can find it by searching for "Belle
Of Lexington yigal" and then select the crooked hit. I am still pondering
whether to link this video to BHO.
