I've been working on a break for Roll in my sweet baby's arms for a few weeks now. I thought I'd give more experienced players a chance to comment on my playing. I'm looking for advice to improve my playing. Anything you think I should be more focussed on? The break is one that is taught by Murphy Henry. I play it at 140 beats per minute (playing 2 notes per click - so some people would call it 70bpm - in any case, it's pretty slow). Date recorded: 4 January 2016

I'm not a more experienced player, but I also like working on this break. What I have been doing is recording Murphy playing it looped over and over for about 5-8 minutes then just play along with her. When those 5-8 minute practice sessions turn in to a few hours change will happen. A slow downer application would be the best route to take, but I don't have one so this is all I have to work with. Good luck, hope it helps. You have all the right notes here and you'r pickin them clean so it should.

Thank you for your comment, Butch. I hadn't thought of trying to pick along with Murphy - maybe I'll give that a go. All the best, Bell.
