Thanks, Janet. I'll bet you heard this on the radio when growing up, like I did.

I don't think I'm that old! I think my parents heard it, or at least I had to wait till I hit 50 over a decade ago to appreciate it. Anyway, your playing is suuuuuuuper.

Janet, No agism intended! I forgot that while growing up out in the sticks, our little radio station played a lot of old pop stuff--big band, tin pan alley, torch singers, and the like. Since country was most popular there and then, and rock was getting underway, I could have missed out entirely on this music. I'm glad that I didn't.

Doug, Thanks. I'm playing as if my banjo is a plectrum type--I'm not using the 5th string. I posted this to put on Eddy's (Greemmeat) forum on the song for tenor banjo. I'm terrible ar regular Scruggs style, but I can do a few songs with this Travis picking.

Rick,Thanks. There's a lot of good pop music from this era that can be put on the banjo one way or another.

David, Thanks! The bass rhythm gives it a dab of syncopation, I think.

Got some swingin' rhythm Lew... nice jaunty ride!

Ken, Thanks. It's a bit slower rhythm than I thought, but not bad.
