This tune has a passage early on that I knew I had stolen from some other tune I'd heard. I asked a bluegrass buddy about it, and he said that two of the chords in the sequence are also in "Harley's Breakdown" and in "Interstate Breakdown." The quotation marks are there to indicate titles, not to denote direct quotes for I may be recalling what my buddy said. The title, "Rocky Comfort" is the name of a road here in southern Illinois. I find the name intriguing, seeming to specify ease-with-difficulty. I did an internet sears and found that it was the name of a large plantation in Florida, but the local road name remains a mystery. The tune seems somewhat bittersweet to me, so "Rocky Comfort" is apt.

A complete solo -- I can't imagine it played any better!

Thanks, Janet. That's about as fast as I can play accurately in 3-finger style, but this melody would suffer if played at breakneck speed.
