Admirable multi-tracking production, Mike. What program and type of computer do you have? The banjo plays prominently and the accompaniment backs its melody nicely. Good for you for elevating yourself to become a fiddler, too!

Thanks, Janet. I used a Zoom H4n as a combination mic and audio interface and connect it via USB into a Mac laptop running GarageBand. I recorded the banjo first and then the guitar and finally fiddle. It's easy to manipulate the level and even add effects after the fact to get the balance you want. Not exactly a pro setup but it's pretty fun. Sometimes I'll "cheat" a little and play over a percussion loop for the first track, which I can turn off later.
