Latest batch of tonerings 11-14-2014 48.5 oz 20 hole unplated. Modeled and profiled after my original Flathead. Pot is a 40's with a mahogany neck. Strings were shot.

Jerry, that sounds great. I wouldn't plate that thing - its great just like it is. What is the pot?

Its an 40's Gibson style one type pot. I call it my test pot..Everything fits so loose on it. I fixed it to except any ring.

I also have an old Style 3 banjo. This set up is even better with the 3 resonator which was not used here for this clip.

Sounds great Jerry! I could listen to that banjo for days. That's THE TONE that most of us long for. I'm hoping my next banjo will be an old conversion with a JBS ring. Keep up the good work!
