Neill Connor of Sedgely, UK recently posted a video "challenging" me to learn his favorite hornpipe which he's been working on, so here's my effort after 3 days. I simplified Ken Perlman's original tab by changing the 5th string tuning and removing the difficult triplets. Though it's still the same tune, it's probably not what Neill hears more commonly in his country. I guess it's an Americanized hornpipe.

Janet that was Superb! It amazes me how you make a song sound smooth and simple. But me thinks that this tune is very melodic and intricate. It Might be a hard one to learn by ear very quickly.
loved it!

Clicks right along Janet... like a lovely ol' timepiece ... you have preserved all the essential qualities of the tune as well.

Without tab I'd be sunk here, Denton. Ken your picturesque words qualify you to volunteer in our 5th grade class, who need to master metaphors. Thanks to you both!

Wow, you make this sound a lot easier than it probably was to learn and play. Fantastic!

Really nice. I learned it on tenor banjo, but this is the first time I've heard it on 5-string.

Thanks, Travis and Differential. Playing on a five string is interesting in that the 5th string can be either used for rhythm, fill-in, or melody.
