This is my "coming out" recording, as my first upload. In support of the tab I posted, it's my transcription of Django's guitar part to banjo. 1st two rounds are Djangos notes, then a couple of rounds of me trying to be gypsyish, then Django again. Recorded through laptop mic onto a Realband backing track.

Nice playing - and good work on the transcription!
Those laptop mics are not the best, and I think for the amount of effort you put into this, a ~$100 investment into a half decent USB mic might well pay dividends. I hope you don't take that as criticism, it isn't.

Thanks Laurence. I had a good usb mic, but it went in a clear-out. You know, you never use something then you sell it and the next thing.... I don't really record much but may look out for one.
