I'm thrilled to have been asked to do the rollout of an innovative instrument that opens a new world of mando-banjo potential. The Octajo is a double-course tenor banjo tuned an octave (or lower) below mandolin and violin. With a 12” banjo rim with bronze tone ring and an octave mandolin neck the Octajo can be strung with either metal or nylon strings. The one on this recording is set up with nylon. Hope you enjoy.
