Here's my attempt at Up on the Blue Ridge (aka Vestal's Opus). It took me a solid three weeks to get this much down, and it's still sloppy in places. The version of the song I learned from was what Scott played live on the "A School of Bluegrass" album with Doyle Lawson, so it's not quite as fancy as the version with all the crazy triplets in the second break, etc. I did get the ending lick though! This is played on my prewar RB-75 knockoff with the fancy Huber HR-30 tone ring and Frank Neat Neck
