Very nice tune Lew, you don't hear a lot of CH waltzes. Very clean playing on this.

Laurence, Thanks, I appreciate remarks coming from a fine banjoist (land a more competent one tham me!). There's actually a lot of bum-ditty-ditty, or bum-dit-dit in it. Following the strummed chords, there usually is a quieter dit-dit or ditty-ditty there. The single note parts are all bums followed by hammer-ons and pull-offs. But, yep, it doesn't sound much like clawhammer, but it's all downstroke.

Laurence, my apologies! I somehow misread your note as saying that this waltz didn't have much clawhammer, while you were saying there are not many clawhammer waltzes. I lectured you wrongly, but you responded graciously. I'll try not to confuse the specific and the general in the future. ;)
