Very cool. I mean this respectfully: the vocalizations remind me of an old recording of African music I found in a French enthographer file. Really like both a lot.

So, based on the mp3 file name, this was from March of 1948? The whole recording was fantastic to listen to, and Earl's backup sounded great as usual. I was a little surprised how he dumbed down his break, compared to the studio recording. You have posted some really cool stuff lately, and I hope you keep letting us hear these little gems. Thanks for posting this cut!
