Merry Christmas! Learned this at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago. Used G tuning here, but capo up 2 and play it in A if you're with a fiddle. Tab is in Brad Leftwich's Round Peak Clawhammer book. Lyrics I use: Hooray Jake and hooray John Breaking up Christmas all night long Way back yonder, a long time ago The old folks danced the do-si-do Way back yonder, alongside the creek I seen Santa Claus a-washin' his feet Santa Claus come, done and gone Breaking up Christmas all night long

I am impressed that you can sing and play. I am so uncoordinated I have to play between heartbeats.

Rgoad, thank you for the compliment! I used to not care for singing & playing (I was weird), but now I prefer to learn songs where I can do just that.
