One of the best songs ever for clawhammer and voice. Glad to finally have learned it.

Those new strings sound great. Or maybe it's just your fine playing.

Always admired Tim O'Brien... a truly remarkable musician... and you did a fine job on his tune; superb Travis.

Enjoyed this BUT this song was written by Ola Belle Reed, who I am proud to say was on old friend and one of the trail blazers for women in the country music and banjo areas. Check out her Rounder recording from when Tim was a youngster.

Thanks BGOT. I am aware of that. As was written in the post, a few times, I learned this from Tim O'Brien's version which is why I gave him the credit. I have checked out Ola Belle and have enjoyed what I have heard. I meant no disrespect by not listing her initially.

I would suggest changing the credit to Ola Belle as I'm sure Tim O'Brien would, too. She wrote the song.
I was listening to your recording on the jukebox and it sounds great. But the credits on the jukebox led me to here to make this suggestion (you don't see a lot of info on the jukebox).
