Thanks Kenneth, When played as a canon, more than one instrument, and each begins while the other are already so many notes ahead, the tune can roll for ever. Stopping at any point would appears abrupt. Also, I try to keep no more than three repeats of the tune, in my posts. I'll listen again and hear whether the entire tune is played by the first instrument exactly three times.
