This is the Virtual Country Jam "V Lesu Rodilas' Yolochka" ("A Christmas Tree") from Russian musicians from different parts of the USSR! Inspired by my playing of the famous New Year song on banjo which I posted here before! It was recorded through the internet and then mixed together! The musicians never been played together in the real life and they never saw each other, only in the internet. Love it, Janna! I remember showing your video to my first grade class around Christmas time. Just hearing the music brings it all back--a great theme of enjoying the living Christmas tree.
