pretty nice.. I had you pegged as a scruggs picker. you doing this in emin or amin ? can't quite get the rhythm of clawhammer down.. but since I discovered clawhammer guitar.. I gotta learn it now.. good show..

I play clawhammer when I get frustrated with Scruggs...Hah...since I'm really a guitar player this feels much more natural :)

Oh, this is Sawmill tuning which is also called G Modal. You leave everything the same but tune the second string to C instead of B. It's technically Gsus4th if you get really crazy.

I'm a guitar player too but scruggs is way easier for me for some reason . Earl's Pretty Polly uses that tuning but I prefer Ralph's on that song. anyway.. you're way ahead of me on that for sure.
