The Huber had a much warmer sound from the two samples.

Royce, that is interesting because in person everyone describes the Walnut Chief as the warmer banjo. The computer speakers for me seem to take a lot out of both banjos. Kate

Very nice sound on both banjos, and good clean clear picking..I agree with Royce, just a slight edge to the Huber. Its good to hear a sound clip of a Chief, they seem to be pretty rare, I don't understand why, they are fine sounding banjos..thanks for posting the two files, excellent compairison..
