i've tried to stay close to the melody that a fiddle or 4 string banjo player would play, i guess i could call the picking approach 'celtic fingerstyle' . i've got 62 of these tunes available in book with cd and tabs if anyone's interested

but i play the 5th string occasionally JP! forgot to mention i've capoed 2 so it's in A, g tuning, so plenty of open strings. i still haven't nailed all those triplets, life long goal i think.

thanks very much don, i'm a big fan of your playing. hope you're well now. there's been a few friends and some children getting pneumonia here as well so maybe it's more common than i thought.
hey once thru that tune without too many mistakes is as much as i could manage! i turn on that recording thing and relaxation goes out the window i'm afraid- it's a long journey - --

Well played Peter, it's amazing what can be achieved with effort. I liked the ornamentation/improvisation on the tune, keep em comin'.
