Shortly before recording this piece at Emorys farm a metal rod fell on my right index finger and opened it like plum in 10 mm gash at the tip. I had no other options than to go to local hospital or ask for a purple thread and needle and with a left hand I sewed ten beautiful stitches to my finger. Than I ramed the finger pick over it. The swelling and blood kept the pick really tight for a four hour session.
