My wife Elaine and I wrote this tune in 1972 and performed and recorded it at The Appalachian Studios near our home town. It was our first attempt at writing and recording. I played guitar accompaniment, John Call was on Steel Guitar. Elaine sang harmony.

Well, thank you David. We wrote this song plus another one entitled, "Goodbye City, Give Me Some Country"....but I don't like it as well as this one. But, Maybe I'll put it on sometime in the future. I haven't been "inspired" enough during these recent years to attempt to write another one. But, one of these days, I may try again. Songwriting is difficult for me; takes alot of time. I have a song about my daughter which I like pretty well; perhaps I'll put that one on sometime.
