Very nice job, Joel! Clean, smooth, excellent timing, and I really like the fact that you used the A7 chord in there. Lotsa folks leave it out but it belongs in there because that's the way the song really goes.
You say you're a "Novice" but I'd definitely rate you better than that. I don't normally rate songs because I have no clue what the rating system is.....does only someone like Bela Fleck get a 5? If so, where does that leave the rest of us? ;-)
Keep at it, you're doing just fine.
