This is for a Tune of the Week. I took Mark Johnson's great recording, pitch-shifted down two half-steps (to G), and added myself playing along on a low-tuned Bowlin (dGDGA).

Thanks J-Walk. I'm really quite flattered.
I'm also floored. You made the recording really come alive with the warm growl of that Bowlin. Great playing for sure.

Well, I had some great material to accompany.
Maybe some day we'll meet up and can play it live. There's a lot to be said for banjo duets -- especially when they involved two very different types of banjos.

Definitely, J-Walk - those two banjos sounded fantastic together.
Great stuff - both of you.

Now there's some great growley musical and technical prowess.
