Wow, Sid, you sure learned that fast. I can hear the tune easily in your playing and am really glad you posted this. Maybe somebody out there knows who wrote it for sure.

It may be that Jeremiah Carpenter from West Virginia wrote this. Dwight Diller's Harvest CD from which you heard this song originally is subtitled Mountain Music of West Virginia. The rock in the title refers to a rock where his son was quietly born.
