Red Rocking Chair in Am. I am no singer, so bear with the voice.

That was quite captivating. That could have come from West Virginia (that's a complement), as it had a rarefied, lonesome quality. The singing reminded me of the Hammons family of WV. I liked it so much that I rated it 5 stars.
If you are recording with a single microphone, you should position it to favor the voice. If you are recording with two microphones and/or into separate banjo and voice tracks, you should increase the relative volume of the voice.

Very nice. Like Fiddler said, captivating-lonesome quality. And I think the 'thump' really adds something.

I enjoyed it too. I wouldn't be apologizing for your voice. As "FiddlerFaddler" says, I would experiment with boosting the volume of your voice. As I was listening, I was thinking you could try capoing up to B (or even higher), and force your voice to reach for it.
If there's anything wrong with your voice it will improve in time.
At least that's what I've been telling myself for forty years. Check out my version and let me know what you think.

I realize that this was uploaded over 4 years ago but couldn't resist saying something (just got on) I think that the only thing wrong is your belief in that voice hope youv'e gain confidence & are letting the world hear your heart by now. I'll be looking for more recent tunes by you. You are great.
