Genre: Traditional / Playing Style: Clawhammer and Old-Time
I've heard the first song, but didn't learn it until it was played at the end of a Thomas Hart Benton documentary. Salt Creek was the last picking song I learned as a novice picker who changed over to clawhammer, and then much later back to picking.

A fine, fine job of picking, Janet, very well done. I love the double stopping, a signature element of your playing.

Salt Creek? More like "Sugar" to my ear. Sweetened my coffee nicely!

That's a nice combination Janet; like the way you wove them together. Always liked the Texas tune since I heard Ed Britt play it back in the ALT.banjo days. He has a great version here on BHO if you've never heard it.
