Well, I've always loved the song and so I got into it and figured out the first voice. Then I went around to all my guitarist friends and tried to get them to learn the second voice. No one had the time, so I had to learn it myself and multitrack it. So this is me playing with myself.

Just listened to this on the jukebox. It's beautiful, I really like it a lot. How did you get that tone out of your instrument?

Thanks for the positive feedback, everybody. The banjo I used on this was my Liberty (I think!). As to the tone, I play these kinds of songs with my right hand next to the neck. Sometimes I'll even venture out onto the neck a bit. That's where the mellow sounds are. I also did add reverb( freeverb, I believe was the plug-in)
