Thanks for the nice comments. I know the song is played quite a lot and maybe overused, but Brudda Iz I guess spoke to me. May God bless him. His video is very touching. The song is pretty easy to play in double C. Glad you all like it. Wish I could meet each and everyone of you!

No I usually just play by ear. If I can't quite get a tune down, i will look for tab or go to You Tube to see if i can find someone else doing the song. ( i can watch them) /thanks for the nice comment!!

Yah. I've had a guitar since I was 15. Dad brought me home a $10 Silvertone with Barb Wire Strings. I managed to get a D/35 Martin in the 70's for $550. And I also have a Kansas guitar made by Stuart Mossman from Winfield. It has a little more punch to it than the Martin.
