Bill Monroe said he wrote tunes out of the air because he heard them first! He was an incredible composer. I've come to appreciate the South more lately and this tune brings it to my mind.

Bill Monroe recorded it in 1988 and an album of the same name was released and actually won the first ever Bluegrass Grammy in 1989.

I like this one a lot - for me, this version is such a poignant interpretation of this song - JanetB, I love it!
