I've been checking out this great tune of yours over the years on the Banjo Addict site. Really like it, as well as the other tunes on your BHO page. I see that your band does "Music for a Found Harmonium." I consider this THE tune for CH Banjo!!! I have a sloppy version here: http://www.nowhereradio.com/artists/album.php?aid=4439&alid=-1 John D

I just flipped when I figured out how to play in on banjo.  I really like your version; you keep the fifth string in there on the second part; I play entirely melodicly there.

If you don't mean, I think I'll borrow some of your arrangement.

Thanks for the kind words.

David Lindley's version of....   Johnson Boys, maybe?  Different melody, same loose , relaxed feel.

Really a nice tune.  Your playing is very accurate, very pleasing.

Ha! When I heard your Swedish tune I flashed on David Lindley because of the fanning strum you were doing; wasn't surprised to see your mention of him here. Very nice nicely done.

Andy, I bet I have listened to that tune a zillion times. What a great combination of banjo and hammered dulcimer? I just love it!

Yes, it is. I recorded it a loooong time ago; everything is me; guitar, banjar, and hammered dulcimer. One of these centuries I am going to rerecord it with my band, the Piney Creek Weasels.
