That's lovely Peter. This tune often confuses tune backers with it's complex tonality, in both G and D major, but when is it G and when is it D? You seem to have given it more of a G tonality with the double-stops which is fine. It could throw off tune backers who might want to emphasize D when you're clearly tending towards G tonality in the double-stops, but that's okay. Nice job!

"Its complex tonality", it should have read: in both G and D Major.

Really nice Peter! I bet that's took some time to work up. I really enjoyed it.

hey you're right about the tonality! i've asked guitarists to back it up but get totally confused as to which chords they should choose. it reinforces the fact that most of those tunes were around along time before people were thinking about chords

I like the full sounding harmonized versions of your Celtic tunes, different to what tom hanway does.

Wow! Double stops, as you call them, is a powerful term for the beautiful harmony here.

Sounds nice but lacks the pulse a irish tenor lends. just my opinion. I used to play at many irish sessions and the 5 string just didn't cut it

Maybe it's the player, Jim?
