I meant to add that while this is a G tune, Scott plays it in F on the CD. This confused me for a bit because it *sounded* like a G tune when I was trying to learn from the recording. He must have tuned is fiddle down to cross-G... I use Transcribe! to slow down and sometimes repitch tunes and it was really helpful here - I just shifted the recording back to G.

Don Borchelt recommended that I listen to this Estill Bingham tune. It's wonderful! You have a lot of subtle sounds that make it unusual, which is what is said about Mr. Bingham's treasure of tunes according to the Old-Time Kentucky Fiddle Tunes book.
