Just a sound sample of my gourd banjo, recorded with my cell phone mic, but it represents pretty well how it sounds. Its tone is pretty earthy, full of low and mid tones. Sorry for my terrible banjo playing! I´ve playing the banjo for only a couple f months and it´s the first fretless instrument I´ve ever played.

Playing is pretty good, i think the sound is great.....I can see a gourd banjo in a future build....

Haha! Thanks! There´s something magical about this banjo...Its tone is pretty impressive, full and rich. I guess the very old Brazilian Mahogany wood used on the neck have something to do with it.

yeah nice deep rumbling tone, i love it, good playing too. Hey and great product design stuff, i work as a prop maker as well as an artist and often dabble in designing bits of furniture - mostly for fun - i recently built a some tables for Selfridges in London made out of hundreds of cobblers shoe lasts and melted pewter (google it and check it out).
