Not everybody likes our version of this well-travelled banjo song. Some say it's "pseudo-Celtic" and others too "new agey" and fiddlers are annoyed with the key of E minor. What we were aiming for was a haunting sound similar to how I once heard it performed by an amateur family band down in the Arkansas Ozarks. Hey, it's the "folk process"!
