Never mind that this is a cover of Layla and the difficulties of doing a cover justice, I think even Clapton himself would love this version.
This is one of the best banjo instrumentals I've heard in a long time.
The way the banjos layer and harmonize in the main theme in the beginning section is very talented, very airy quality, like in a big hall.
There's not a bad glitch anywhere in the tune and the bass playing is very unique and professional as well.
One of the best home-production quality recordings I've heard, I don't know that a professional studio could have ever done better.
Very, very impressive, I'd like to hear a professional CD produced with tunes like this.
It's so nice to hear a banjo step out of it's conventional boundaries, great tune.

Love the layering of banjos. Lead, rhythm and harmony all in one cool recording. I love Clapton. Another cool one is "Old Love" ... Awesome post.

thanks again to all ... I love this tune, and thought it would be fun to see how it sounded on our favorite instrument.
