Otter Creek is the title track of my first album 'Otter Creek.' I wrote this tune last year while experimenting in the key of Dm. My father on the hammered dulcimer is providing the background groove. The banjola is the third instrument that's added to the mix for a nice texture change. My banjo and banjola is tuned aDADE. Enjoy!

Brad...great tune and wonderful playing. I bought this CD as soon as I got the email from your father that it was available. It's a Christmas gift for my wife...ssshhhh, don't tell.
My wife plays hammered dulcimer and I play mountain dulcimer; we live in Phoenix and we've known your father for many years and have enjoyed his lessons and concerts at many festivals we've attended. I've been learning clawhammer banjo for about 1.5 years and it's come really naturally since I know and play old time music. You are *way* better on your Dobson then I am on mine!
Keep making great music and thanks for helping keep the tradition of old time music alive. Really enjoyed the song...

Great tune! Nice banjo work. And, the song demonstrates why your father is a tip top hammered dulcimer player.
