Again, after two days with the Ramsey fretless. I didn't have the courage to attempt the high part. Also, this is a G/A tune, I think. But I do it here in D.

Hey I like the sound of that Ramsey. What gauge strings do you use? I use Aquila Nylgut on my Ramsey Fairbanks. Nice version by the way.

Thanks. My fretless chops are coming along--I need to post something soon.
I use plain old GHS PF170s, but I've only changed once. I think I'd like the tone of nylon or nylgut, but I wonder if they'd have enough volume for a stringband context. I used to have nylon strings on my old Hamony--I loved them.
