I agree with the others: great picking, and a sweet old time sound! Which banjo did you use?

Bob-thanks, appreciate it! The banjo I used for this recording is the "Fairbanks Imperial Clone" I built, using an 11" Stew-Mac "Electric" tone ring, a 1/2 2 ply maple pot, 26 1/4 inch scale maple neck. Bill Miller vellum calf skin head, 5/8 " Bart Veerman plain "mystery wood" bridge, Will Fielding tailpiece and GHS bronze 4th medium gauge strings, the first banjo I built years ago, just can't part with it, there are pic's of it on my picture page. Thanks again for your nice comments, take care & happy clawhammering!

Great playing, and you should be proud of that banjo! I purchased a Veerman bridge for one of my banjos "for the heack of it", and now all of my other banjos want one!

Hey Don-thanks, sure appreciate the comments, glad you liked the tune. Bart's bridges are great, I use them on all of my builds. Bart's really a stand-up guy, I've been using his "stripy stuff" mystery wood bridges on my RB 250 and the tone is amazing...good stuff...take care...
