A Django inspired tune
I play guitar and banjo, KIDD played drums and bass and he mixed it.

(grumbling under my breath) "This guy is gettin' way too good . . . I'm gonna have to take the Winslow ferry to Bainbridge and break one of his fingers to slow him down"
Naw . . . not really! It is beyond good Laurence . . . I love this tune and performance.

Brilliant!!! Loved this piece. Really authentic sound - great musical ideas - such smooth playing. This is one of my favourites (as was A Banjo in Paris). Post more!

I always thought there was a niche for gypsy jazz banjo, it's never really been done, so great job and an original at that!
Pat Cloud had a gypsy project in the works but being the perfectionist that he is I don't know if we'll ever get to hear it.
In the meanwhile keep at it brother!

Thanks guys! Monique is, alas, a fictional person. I just wanted to name the tune something vaguely french sounding!

Sorry I missed this one when you first posted it. Nothing less than outstanding in the composition, arrangement and playing. It did have that "French sound". Kinda reminded me of some of the background tracks in the movie "Midnight in Paris". Excellent stuff Laurence.
