Not unlike my Swanee in G but a tad different.. I really like rattling this one off for some reason, usually mixed in with April Showers...!

Nice song, and well played. I like that melody. Think I'll have a go at it.

Nice smooth picking. It's still hard to believe that you ever had any trouble at the mic. If I played as well as you I'd be at the mic as much as they'd let me!

Very kind of you gents, still a whole lot of room for improvement but that's the fun, right..? If we could all play like Earl etc, I think we'd all get bored. Nice to see a little improvement now and then though when only playing by ear, it makes me feel I'm headed in the right direction. It's a lot slower process to good results if you don't play tabbed music. I might play a tune through 20 times for any slight adjustment to it..

It's not always easy to get 3-finger picking to sound really "musical" but you do a superlative job. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Paul...!...It's all just a simplified result of not being able to get bluegrass rolls to sound anything but machine gun like so I took a few that I thought sounded melodic on their own and built the meody around them with a few slides and whatnots thrown in.

I really appreciate your comments Paul, you're a fine musician. Best wishes.....David

I am looking forward to heading into the three-finger arena after I get a little better at the Frailing. This piece makes me want to try it sooner than later.

Hi Gordon, thanks for your comment. I'm sure a quality picker like you will have no trouble at all..!

Best wishes....David

Thanks for your comment Rick, I really appreciate it. I don't play a set method, just what I've settled on over the years, so no bluegrass or oldtime just my standard that has chugged along for years, never really improving at all. Maybe I should learn tab pieces from the masters and see if I can play them in the end..!! All the best.......David
