I have been looking from time to time to see if you got it up there. And I am circling on the tune but I still need to understand the the parts. On Mel's recording the tune is faded in so I am unsure. I hope you can post it. No pressure though. Hey, I have Alonzo Janes in my tune bag now!!!!!

Christine, I'll work "Jingle" up, it has a weird structure, AAAABBCCBB (that is the way that Mel played it most of the time), I'll try to post it by next weekend...haven't had a lot of time to play lately, hate it when work gets in the way of fun!! Take care...

BHO member Jeremy Meyers of Oldfield, Mo.(near Ava) was in a student program with Bob Holt back in the day. He fiddles this tune and a number of others quite well. You might wish to contact him through BHO or even better thru facebook. Jeremy regularly attends the OT session at McClurg, Mo. where Bob Holt held forth for so many years and still exerts influence.

Don...thanks for the heads-up, I'll shoot Jeremy a friend request, love Bob Holt's fiddling, his modal "Got A Little Home To Go To" is one of my fav's, have to figure that tune out on the fiddle one of these days...
