Bump in the Road
Traveling down that old highway
Smooth driving tonight
Thinking that my luck will stay
Everything is alright
Then it hits me, another bump in the road
Gripping steady the steering wheel I hold
Eating ice cream in the afternoon
Not a care in the world
Catch me humming a lovely tune
As my tongue makes a swirls
Then it hits me, another stain on my shirt
Ice cream tumbling eventually ends in the dirt
Sailing off to Paradise
Steady wind in my sails
And might I say you look lovely tonight
Hiking out on the rails
Then the seas change, winds are starting to roar
Steer the rudder toward another lea shore

Hey Greg - very nice song (& where in the heck have you been bro???)... This is a very nice song - I like the rhythm and the instruments and the message in the song. Phil

Another total package! Life is full of bumps in the road. It's great to see you've expressed yourself in your music and you've got a positive outlook.

That banjo has a nice bark and pop to it.
