My niece asked me to play this at her wedding this summer. I'll actually be playing backup to a vocalist, so this won't be the arrangement that I play at the wedding. I just wanted to play with the melody and see what I could come up with. I tried to keep it as reverent as I could.

I absolutely loved this arrangement. One of my favorite hymns, beautifully played on a great sounding banjo. What tuning did you use? Thanks for posting.

Thanks guys! Carl, I'm using G tuning, with the 5th string capoed to A (using railroad tacks).

Really well thought out arrangement Nestor. I like your use of space - also like the harmonization and finishing off with the harmonics was a nice touch. Hard one not to rush! - you did great though.
