I've never felt particularly proficient with this tune. There's just too many places in it for me to just blow it up! It's not for lack of playing it either; we play it as a regular tune in our set list with the LMB, so I've had plenty of practice at it. Never-the-less it's still one that bum-fuzzles me for whatever reason. Now, mind you I'm not afraid to share this evening's recording of it. If anything I've learned to "suck courageously". Seriously, no one gets injured or killed. How bad could it be? Right? Sigh...

Sounds like your playing with tunings again, Jim. Lovely, lush version, with lots of subtle stuff going on. I like the "Close Encounters" ending tacked on the back.

That was real fine. A lot of drive, crisp and clear. And played very, very well. You are an inspiration!

Thanks. Don, The tuning is Double C with the 5th down to an E. I think John Balch uses the same tuning for it. Steve & Ike, glad to be an inspiration to someone. Well, my wife says I am, but I'm not sure that she's not being sarcastic. "You're a real inspiration, you are!" ;P
The Close Encounters thing was a test just to see who listened to it all the way through. :)
