Genre: Country / Playing Style: Clawhammer and Old-Time
Learned it first in G-Tuning, then decided that as I was starting to play a lot using Double C, I'd better learn it in this tuning too! Using a nasty microphone and my lovely Geo.P.Matthews English Banjo. One day I might even install some spikes so I can play in Old-D - but for now, C it is.

You can play in D without spikes...just tune to double C...capo up two frets....raise your fifth string to sound like your first string....and you are in the key of D.
